Lightning strikes behind the Oklahoma State Capitol in Oklahoma City. Taken August, 2006. This Cross is white, with neon edge-lighting. The storm knocked out power allowing the Cross to have greater contrast when it was silhouetted against the lightning.
Taken in Edmond, Oklahoma on August, 12, 2004. On May 24, 2008 a tornadic thunderstorm moved from Bison to near Marshall, Oklahoma before dissipating east of Stillwater. This is one of many unusual cloud formations it produced. A storm approaches Jed Johnson Lake in the WIchita Mountains. Old barn and mammatus clouds taken near Oxford, Kansas. This was one of the most violent storms I've photographed in terms of lightning and wind. Taken September 10, 2006 near Clinton, Oklahoma. Vapor lamps color the Oklahoma City sky during a thunderstorm. The ground-to-cloud lightning was generated from radio and TV antennas that were just over the horizon.
